Leader as Coach course
The Leader as Coach course is a practical course available for up to 8 trainees in a group and delivered either in person or online via Zoom.
If you’re a leader of people, a team manager or a consultant working clients and you’ve been curious about the “Ask not Tell” Coaching approach for a while – then this course could be your next step.
Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
During three workshops you’ll learn the fundamental principles and skills to enable you to coach. In your role as a leader you will be able to have radically different conversations with your staff about performance improvement, target achievement, confidence, motivation and so much more. In your role as Consultant you will be able to work with clients in an entirely new way, releasing your role as the Subject Expert and Fixer of Problems and becoming expert at facilitating client-centred and empowering conversations. Clients gain more value from working with you by getting super-clear about their vision and goals, being supported to adopt an attitude of continual improvement and they are more likely to buy in to sustainable changes.
Your trainer will be highly experienced Executive Coach and Coach Trainer, Liz Dunphy (or one of her equally qualified Associates). Liz is a Senior Practitioner Coach of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and is proud to have presented an Global Webinar on advanced coaching skills for them. Liz has designed and delivered Leeds Beckett University’s ILM Level 5 in Coaching & Mentoring. She is also an experienced coach supervisor working with both UK and internationally-based coaches.
The course does not rely on lots of conventional teaching and slides but is a strongly reflective coach development journey where learners come to their own insights and understanding of what it means to be a Transformational Leader in their organisation.
If you are procuring this course for your organisation a bespoke assessment element can be co-created with your organisation to further embed coaching skills beyond the training.
